Recently, the university of energy and power engineering of a famous university in Shanghai has adopted 3D printing technology to solve the problem of laboratory air circulation test. The school’s scientific research team originally planned to seek the traditional machining and simple mold method to make the test model, but after investigation, the construction period took more than 2 weeks. Later, it used the 3D printing technology of Shanghai digital manufacturing 3D Co., Ltd. combined with the re molding process, which only took 4 days to complete, greatly shortening the construction period. At the same time, the cost of 3D printing process is only 1 / 3 of that of traditional machining.
Through this 3D printing, not only the model production is accurate, but also the experimental cost is saved.
